Hi! I'm Eric, a reader, writer, scholar, and teacher.

Many students feel that studying is a struggle, but it doesn’t have to be that way. I know that students are capable of succeeding, but they sometimes need a little guidance.

I'm an MA graduate of the University of Chicago who has been published in academic journals such as Philip Roth Studies and The Hemingway Review and mainstream outlets, including Los Angeles Review of Books, the Star Tribune, memoryhouse, Willamette Week, and On the Seawall.

I'm a teacher with experience at the middle school, high school, and college levels. I've helped students from 13 to 23 better understand how to study literature.

I love literature, writing, and language, and I love teaching young people how to master these skills to improve their grades and to get into college. What students learn now, as young people, forms their character and teaches them to think deeply and critically for the rest of their lives.
